Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

1. Right of Access

You have the right to access your personal data held by SolM in accordance with your GDPR rights. SolM reserves the right to request proof of identity from individuals requesting access and may reject requests that are manifestly abusive due to their high number or repetitive/systematic nature.

2. Right to Rectification, Erasure and Restriction of Processing

You have the right to obtain the correction of any personal data that may be inaccurate without undue delay.

You also have the right to request the deletion of your personal data if it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which SolM collected it, if you withdraw consent and there is no other legal basis for processing, if the data has been unlawfully processed, or if deletion is required to comply with a legal obligation. Exercising this right does not affect SolM’s right to continue processing data when necessary for asserting, exercising or defending legal rights or for compliance with legal obligations.

You have the right to request that SolM restrict the processing of your personal data if:

• You contest the accuracy of the data processed by SolM, for a period allowing SolM to verify such accuracy
• The processing of your data is unlawful, but you oppose the erasure of the data
• SolM no longer needs the data for processing purposes, but you require it for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims before a court

3. Right to Data Portability

If your personal data was collected on the basis of your consent or is necessary for the performance of a contract with you, you have the right to receive the data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to request that it be transmitted to another controller. To exercise this right, please contact our Data Protection Officer at the addresses mentioned above.

4. Right to Object and Withdraw Consent

You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for legitimate reasons.
You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time where consent is the legal basis for processing. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal, nor SolM’s right to retain data to protect, defend and exercise its rights before a court.

5. Right to Provide Instructions Regarding Your Data After Death

You may define instructions regarding the fate of your personal data after your death:

General instructions: recorded with a trusted third party certified by the CNIL.
Specific instructions: recorded directly with SolM (applicable only to the data processed by SolM).

In the absence of instructions, your heirs may exercise certain rights in connection with the management of your estate.

6. Response Times

SolM commits to responding to any request to exercise your rights within one month of receipt. This period may be extended by two additional months in the case of complex requests, and you will be informed of the reasons for the delay.

7. Contact for Questions Regarding Personal Data

For any questions regarding the protection of personal data or to exercise your rights (access, rectification, deletion, objection, portability, etc.), you can contact our Data Privacy Officer by mail at 10 Rue de Penthièvre, 75008 Paris, or by email at privacy@solcotton.com.
